The second single to be released from Sarah Blasko’s acclaimed album As Day Follows Night will be the hauntingly sad Ennio Morricone spirited All I Want.
Released on May 3rd, All I Want is a stripped back acoustic track that pays tribute to the spaghetti western experimentation of Morricone, wrapping round the delicate delivery of Blasko’s vocals.
The western theme continues on the video where Blasko leads her horse through a deserted frontier town, providing a great compliment to one of the stand out tracks from As Day Follows Night.
For 2010, Sarah Blasko has relocated to London, saying; “I’ve wanted to have my music out here for a long time, I’ve always known it was possible, but I’m a big believer in things happening at the right time. With this album, everything seems to have slotted in to place and the timing feels perfect.”
Certainly it seems like the stars are aligning for her. Blasko has wowed the likes of Lauren Laverne and Janice Long, both of whom invited her to record live sessions for BBC 6 Music and Radio 2 respectively, and also performed on BBC2’s Newsnight Review.
Meanwhile her inimitable and eye-catching live shows are also sure to win over audiences across the nation as she will support The Temper Trap on their UK tour in April and May and on Mojo Magazine’s stage at the Great Escape.

If you’re into Morricone, you should check out my Spaghetti Western Concept Rap album, called “Showdown at the BK Corral.” It’s basically a Spaghetti Western over 9 tracks – very influenced by Morricone. I’d love to hear what you think of it! You can download it for free at sunsetparkriders.com
