Bobby Ray Simmons the Atlanta rap and r&b artist who also goes by the name of B.o.B releases his excellent single Nothing On You in the UK on May 17th although that date is likely to be brought forward due to the phenomenal success of the track in the USA.
Already riding high at number two in the US iTunes chart, the release of the huge r&b track in the US has already been brought forward to April 27th.
Nothing On You is taken from the 21 year old rappers new album scheduled for release at the end of May. The song has just been added to the Radio One playlist, ensuring maximum airplay. With the sun in the sky and the car roof down, this is the sound of (early) summer.
B.o.B – Nothing On You
In the space of the last few days Nothing On You has reached the number one spot in the US iTunes chart, but moreover the next B.o.B track Aeroplanes, featuring Hayley Williams from indie band Paramore has taken over at number two in the chart.
Very obviously the man of the moment, Aeroplanes has been named Track of the Week at NME in the UK this week and we will bring further news of the new track release date as soon as it is available.
It has just been announced that B.o.B’s debut album ‘B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray’ (out 31 May) will also feature guest appearances from Lupe Fiasco, Eminem, T.I., and hotly tipped Janelle Monae.
