The most successful UK girl band of all time are back, yes Bananarama are back with their tenth studio album due to be released on September 14. The new album is called Viva and the first single to be taken from the new collection of songs will be Love Comes, which is released a week before the album.
It was back in 1982 when Bananarama first appeared, adding backing vocals to the Fun Boy Three song It Ain’t What You Do (It’s the way that you do it), and never looking back.
The girls followed with their own list of never ending chart hits including Venus, Cruel Summer and perhaps the best remembered of all Robert De Niro’s Waiting.
With the current trend of regurgitating eighties music Bananarama are sure to be a huge hit with new and old fans alike.
