Following the success of his breakthrough album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things which has sold over 3 million copies and yielded three Grammy nominations, Jason Mraz will be releasing his next album Beautiful Mess – Live On Earth on November 16th on Atlantic Records.
Beautiful Mess – Live On Earth is a sublime 16 track Live CD recorded on Mraz’s Gratitude Café Tour at Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, August 13th.
Beautiful Mess boasts a rich and eclectic repertoire from the international smash-hit album We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things, which charted at No.8 in the UK and is rapidly approaching platinum status.
It features I’m Yours, which recently made chart history as the longest-running song on the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ in the US and has incredibly sold over 9 million singles and ringtones worldwide, including over 300,000 singles in the UK.
Special guest Colbie Caillat joins Mraz onstage for a dazzling performance of their endearing duet Lucky. He also performs a rousing cover of Lionel Richie’s All Night Long.
Accompanying the CD is the live DVD of the show including never seen before bonus footage and more special guests.
Jason Mraz’s touring exploits show no end of slowing down as we move into the New Year. He kicked off his mammoth world tour back in April with sold out shows at Manchester Academy and Hammersmith Apollo. After which he visited the U.S., Europe and Asia.
He is currently playing a series of dates in South America, which includes a festival performance at the About Us Festival in Sao Paolo with Sting. It’s the first and foremost ‘green’ festival in the world.
