Boyzone’s Ronan Keating says that the newly reformed band ‘look better’ than rival reformers Take That.

But Keating admits that seeing Take That perform, inspired Boyzone, saying “It’s a really sexy show, really raunchy. We saw Take That and Justin Timberlake and saw where the bar is and realised what we have to do.”

Up until recently Boyzone were considered too fat to perform, unable to complete their dance routines. They embarked on a fitness regime three months ago that has paid off for the band.

In last nights Belfast gig, the start of a 24 date UK tour, the band couldn’t wait to show off their bodies to the fans. So chuffed with their toned bodies the boys stripped to their underpants on stage and rubbed themselves with baby oil as they performed When The Going Gets Tough. All except Mikey, who for some reason stayed fully clothed throughout the show.

Boyzone will release the single I Can’t Stop Thinking About You, later this year.
