Britney Spears manager, Larry Rudolph, has rubbished reports that the singer will feature in the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards in September.
Rudolph said on the Ryan Seacrest radio show, that Spears is in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and was never supposed to perform that show.
He stated “Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally.”
Earlier reports suggested that MTV bosses wanted to give Spears a chance to redeem herself after the embarrassment of her appearance at last years show.
