Prime time US shows are apparently queuing up to book up the Brit Award winning band Blake, prompting record label EMI to release the track All Of Me simultaneously in the UK, USA and Canada.

As well as lining up TV shows in the US, the foursome are also booked to appear on British TV in weeks leading up to the Royal wedding day.

The song is written by TV theme tune composer Simon May (Eastenders, Howards Way) with the help of his young co writers Simon Lockyer and John Brant. They believe that in All Of Me they have written the perfect wedding song, but it was not created for the upcoming special occasion and was written a couple of years ago.

“We wrote ‘All Of Me’ a couple of years ago and it has already become a popular song at weddings in America. I’ve been looking for the right occasion and artist to make the definitive recording” said Simon May.

When Simon met Blake (Ollie Baines, Jules Knight, Humphrey Berney and Stephen Bowman) in November of 2010 and saw them performing at the Royal Festival Hall, he knew that the waiting was over.  “These boys just blew me away” says Simon.  “They have an awesome ability to sing perfect harmonies and interpret a song in either the pop or classical idiom which is an impressive and very unusual combination.”

While it may not have been written for the royal couple it is none the less fitting and Blake say;

“In ’All Of Me’ Simon and his team have written a song that perfectly fits the romance and commitment of a wedding. We are really honoured to have been asked to sing it and we hope that the song will touch the heart of the nation and be a special song for many couples on their wedding day.”

JLS featuring Tinie Tempah - Eyes Wide Shut

What can I say? This is the latest video to be released by the top boy band JLS and this one features the popular Tinie Tempah, making it double likely to be the first number one of the year for the band.

Eyes Wide Shut is the third single to be taken from the JLS album Outta This World which was kept off the number one spot in the UK album charts by the Take That album on its release in November last year.

The previous two singles The Club Is Alive and the Children in Need charity single Love You More both topped the UK singles chars on release and Eyes Wide Shut is almost certain to follow suit.

Tinie Tempah features on the single version of the track although not on the album version, Eyes Wide Shut will be released on February 13th in the UK:

House-hold names and clear winners for the prime time audience, the boys recently had their own ITV1 special broadcast just before the X-Factor final and will be launching their own clothing line, 2KX, in January 2011. Proof, if ever it was needed, that there is no limit to the boy’s take-over.

Double Vision is released on September 27th and is taken from their current top 20 album Streets of Gold. The single is the fourth to be taken from the album following the incredible chart success of My First Kiss (feat Ke$ha), Starstrukk (feat Katy Perry) and Don’t Trust Me.

Party animals will be looking forward to the duo performing at Reading/Leeds, they have previously whipped up a storm at both T in The Park and Oxegen Festival’s earlier this year.

Everyone’s favourite party starters Sean Foreman and Nathaniel  Motte, better known as 3OH!3, have announced a new five date tour of the UK for September.

The five night whistle stop tour will see 3OH!3 performing in Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London, in that order starting on September 25th. Full details at the bottom of this post.

Having whipped up the masses at both T in the Park and Oxegen festivals, the duo are set to do the same at the upcoming festivals in Leeds and Reading on August 27th and 28th respectively.

3OH!3 will also be releasing their fourth single from the top twenty album Streets of Gold on September 27th, the new single Double Vision will follow previous hit singles from the album, StarStrukk and Don’t Trust Me as well of course as their current track My First Kiss which is now in its third week in the top ten.

Frixion, the new kids on the block

Flair, Style and Exceptional talent that’s how the latest R&B boy band Frixion have been described, having recently toured with bad boys N-Dubz the boys are about to unleash themselves on an unsuspecting audience with the release of their debut single Afraid.

For the single Frixion have joined up with another explosive UK band FDM (formerly Fun*dmental) adding even more hype to the upcoming release.

‘Afraid’ sees a smooth concoction of sweet tones, a gritty symphonized music backdrop, with a chesty kick drum to keep the listener bopping along as the beat syncopates effortlessly with the colorful vocals of Frixion in the first verse, FDM in the second verse, and both groups combined in the rise and pre-chorus.

Featuring plenty of outstretched arms, serious pained facial expressions and shape throwing, the video to accompany the single Afraid can be seen below.

My First Kiss, out this week, is taken from the band’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Streets Of Gold’.
