The U2 360° World Tour 2009 begins at the Nou Camp Stadium, home of the Spanish football club Barcelona.  The rumour mill began in January that U2 were planning a major world tour in 2009 and as soon as the tour was officially announced, U2 tickets have been very scarce in deed.

The U2 360° World Tour 2009 will be a major stadium rock extravaganza that will see Dublin’s second finest export (after Guinness, of course) playing more European football stadiums this summer than even Manchester United.

The tour comes on the back of the release of U2’s 12th studio album, No Line On The Horizon.

U2 have personally chosen several support acts for the 360° World Tour 2009, including Glasvegas (Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff), Elbow (London, Sheffield), Kaiser Chiefs (Paris, Dublin), Snow Patrol (Milan, Nice, Gothenburg); and Black Eyed Peas with further support acts still to be announced.
