Cobra Starship will be releasing their second single from the forthcoming album Hot Mess on February 15th 2010, the new track is the title track from the album-Hot Mess.
The single Hot Mess follows hot on the heels of the previous single Good Girls Go Bad, which was released in October and featured the guest vocals of Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester. That track has sold over 1.6million worldwide and the video that accompanied it was among the nominations for the Best Pop Video at the MTV VMA Awards, where it was listed alongside Beyonce, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga.

The album, Hot Mess, which will be released in the UK on February 25th, is already a smash hit in the US where it debuted at number four in the Billboard Top 200 chart.
Hot Mess has received a flurry of ecstatic press reviews in the USA with People declaring it “a sexy, synthed-up come on that proves irresistible,” whilst Billboard praised Hot Mess as “full of rhythmic dance songs and power-pop anthems,” and Rolling Stone hailed the album as “packed with electro-sleaze tunes that go over the top in both their bright sound – sassy hook-singing girls are prevalent – and wink-wink mien.”
