Franz Ferdinand have announced details of a UK tour in October 2009.

12th Dundee, Caird Hall
13th Inverness, Ironworks
15th Newcastle, Academy
16th Sheffield, Academy
17th Manchester, Apollo
19th Wolverhampton, Civic Hall
20th Leeds, Academy
23rd London, Brixton Academy
Tickets for the shows will be priced at £20 (except London where they will be £21.50). Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 24th April.
Franz Ferdinand released their third album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, through Domino Records in January 2009. The album reached number 2 in the U.K. charts and charted in the top 10 in 19 other countries worldwide, including the U.S.
The band recently completed a short sold-out UK tour which culminated in a triumphant show at the Hammersmith Apollo.
A number of the shows on the tour were recorded, and in conjunction with www.livehernow.com & Domino the Glasgow, Birmingham, London & Manchester gigs were made available to buy on the night after each gig and are currently still available via www.liveherenow.com. Each show CD costs £15.
