Franz Ferdinand release their new single Ulysses on Monday January 19th. The single is taken from the forthcoming album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand.
Listening to the beginning of Ulysses reminds me of songs from the wonderful Flight Of The Conchords before a familiar Franz Ferdinand anthemic chorus kics in.

Franz Ferdinand have announced five UK & Ireland dates this Spring to prmotoe the new album.

8th Birmingham Academy
9th London Hammersmith Apollo
Tickets for the shows will be priced at £20 (except London where they will be £22.50 and Ireland where they are 30 euros).
The band, currently at the start of a short U.S. tour, are also set to play two already sold-out low-key UK shows in the new year at London’s Heaven on 20th January and Edinburgh The Picture House on January 14th.
