Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has decided not to pursue her solo singing career and will instead focus her artistic talent into writing children’s books.
Following the success of the Spice Girls reunion tour Geri has revealed that she is glad to have had the chance to rebuild her relationship with the other spice girls after leaving the group at the peak of their popularity. She says “I feel we are just like a family. We clicked again straight away - it’s just like a family travelling in a bubble. I really enjoy our relationships, but I always wish I had left the group under better circumstances, rather than just walking out. But that’s exactly why I wanted to do it again.”
Ginger Spice now feels it is time to ‘hang up her hotpants’ and move on saying “I’ve finished as a solo artist. Right now I just feel really comfortable writing books.”
Interestingly she only mentions her career as a solo artist, so does that mean that we are yet to see the Spice Girls final finale?
Her first childrens book is launched on May 2nd, called Ugenia Lavender.
