I thought the Kid Rock song All Summer Long was a pretty awful UK number one, but Kate Perry’s I Kissed A Girl, which took the number one spot this week is perhaps even worse.

Despite or because of the fact that Perry’s single spent so long at the top of the charts in Australia and USA, I have managed to avoid hearing it until this week.

What is happening to the charts these days?
