Kylie Minogue’s opening night in Paris was hit by crisis says The Sun. On Friday the little Possum went down with a throat infection leaving hardly able to talk let alone sing.

On Monday technical problems with the stage threatened to put the show in further doubt, with a spokesman saying “Its a miracle the show happened at all.”

“Mercifully all the issues got ironed out in the end and we’re all hugely relieved to get that difficult opening night out of the way.”

The tour team are however, still concerned over the technical complications required to pull off the performance. Kylie goes through eight costume changes and is backed by giant video screens that display colourful computer graphics.

Producers have expressed some concern over the lack of earlier material in the 28 song set, with Kylie so far refusing to add I Should Be So Lucky to the play list.
