Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known as Lady Gaga, has appeared from nowhere to the top of music chart’s globally over the course of the last year or so, causing controversy along the way with her outlandish fashion sense and igniting the electro pop scene with her debut album The Fame.

The debut single Just Dance topped the singles charts in the UK and USA as well as Australia, Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands  and was pipped for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording by Daft Punk’s, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

The recent release of Lady Gaga’s second album The Fame Monster is a collection of eight songs that deal with the darker side of fame as experienced by the songstress during the course of her incredible rise to stardom from 2008 to 2009.

The first single to be taken from the album, Bad Romance reached the top ten in the UK, USA, Australia and Ireland and topped the charts in Canada and Sweden.

To promote the album Lady Gaga will embark on The Monster Ball Tour, it kicks off in Canada at the end of November and travels across North America, arriving in Europe and the UK in February.

Lady Gaga will play eleven Arena shows across the UK and another two nights in the Republic of Ireland, as the European leg of the tour, with full dates and venues listed below. Interest in The Monster Ball Tour is bound to be high and Lady Gaga tickets are already on sale for the UK/Europe dates.
