Madness have announced they will be playing free secret shows in Camden during this year’s Camden Crawl.
BBC 6 Music today announced that it will present a series of special appearances by Madness at the 2009 Camden Crawl.
The free events, for which a ticket to Camden Crawl is not required, will be held at secret locations across Camden on 24th April.
Highlights of the performances will be broadcast as part of 6 Music’s coverage of the two day festival.

Highlights of Madness’ performances will air during Steve Lamacq’s show on Friday 24th April, 4.00 – 7.00pm and in shows across the weekend on 6 Music, whose live coverage of the Crawl continues on Saturday 25th April when Adam & Joe and Lauren Laverne present their shows live from Camden.
Artists performing at the Crawl include The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Maccabees, The Fall, Echo and the Bunnymen and The View.
