Madonna was duly inducted into the Us Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night, with Justin Timberlake revealing how the singer had once injected him in the backside. He recalled that during a recording session with Madge, he had not been feeling well, and she asked if he wanted a shot of B12. She then told him to drop his pants and injected the vitamin .
“That is what Madonna will always be” said Timberland, “The shot in the ass when we really need it!”
Timberlake who produced “Hard Candy” for Madonna then delighted the audience by saying “Nobody has got into the rock and roll hall of fame when they looked this damn fine.”
Although Madonna did not perform, Iggy Pop and The Stooges did covers of Burning Up and Ray of Light.
In a more poignant moment, sixties pop group The Dave Clark Five were introduced to the audience by Tom Hanks, days after singer Mike Smith passed away.
Others inducted last night were John Mellancamp and Leonard Cohen.
