Mesh-29 to release White Light

Terry Lane - Friday 26.09.08, 15:29pm

Mesh-29 are an acoustic indie pop band from Peterborough.

After a year and a half of touring to promote their first album, Dead Machine, they released their debut single, Over the Barricade through their own label, Media Addiction. With support from radio 2, Kerrang radio and Talksport, the single went straight in the chart at number 35 making them only the second unsigned band to enter the top 40.

White Light, is the second single to be released by Mesh-29 on October 13th and is taken from their forthcoming second album,Secret Traffic, due for release on October 20th.

The clean sound of White Light reminds me of the anthemic indie pop of Keane and is already receiving radio and music tv airplay.
