Michael Jackson has managed to hang on to his Neverland Ranch and halt court proceedings, after managing to refinance the property in California, according to his lawyer.
The property was due to go to auction next week if the singer could not raise the necessary $25million to pay of his arrears. His lawyer said that Jackson had secured a ‘confidential’ agreement with the Fortress Investment Group to save the property.
Jackson who bought the property at the height of his popularity in 1987, has not lived there since 2005. Recent photos show the ranch and zoo in a state of disrepair.
