Moscow State Circus is the gorgeous new single from Eugene McGuinness to be released on October 27th 2008. Eugene looks like a cross between a young Alex Turner and Daniel Radcliffe and his fresh faced music is a pop delight.
It is the first single taken from his self-titled forthcoming album, out on Domino Records on 13th October.
Moscow State Circus is an upbeat, bright and infectious pop song reminiscent in a vague sort of ‘out of time’ way of The Last Shadow Puppets.
The track builds and builds throughout its fabulous four minutes, with vocals and instruments added along the way to create an intense musical climax.
The 7” is backed with And The City’s But A Giant Game Of Jenga, a more mellow, gentle, contemplative acoustic number.
