The Spice Girls have said they will not be releasing a concert DVD from the recent reunion tour.

A statement on the girls’ website has now confirmed: “Sadly, there will not be a DVD release of the 47-date tour, but the girls hope you were all left with some fantastic personal memories of the show.”

I must admit I am surprised by this awful news for Spice fans across the world. I believed that the girls were only interested in the financial side of the reunion - it seems I am wrong.

Perhaps they just can’t be bothered anymore. Geri Halliwell has said that she would probably not be up for another reunion, while Mel C has expressed relief that its all over.
