X Factor winner Leona Lewis will not go on tour for at least two years, says the Sun newspaper. The singer is still smarting over the Brit Awards, where she was nominated in four categories, but left empty handed. Lewis and her manager Richard Griffiths have seen this as a personal snub towards the singer, rather than accepting that she was beaten in all categories fairly.
“We can get over it this year.
She’s going to have a long, successful career.
We’ll be back and picking up awards in years to come.
She’s had so many great things happen in her life already.” said Griffiths, adding:
“We’re going to make her album the biggest record in the world, then we’ll make another record in 2009, and tour on the back of that.”
