Paul McCartney and Guns N’ Roses will both debut their latest albums on MySpace today, days before the official release dates, allowing users to listen to the full albums online.
McCartney’s side project The Fireman will make the album Electric Arguments available on the social network site, where members can listen to the album in it’s entirety for free, before the official release on November 25th.
The long overdue Guns N’ Roses album Chinese Democracy will officially be available through MySpace for the first time, despite many of the tracks being already available albeit illegally, across the internet. Chinese Democracy will be exclusively released on November 23rd in the US in a deal with electronics chain Best Buy co inc.
While fans will be able to listen to both albums in full it will not be possible to download any of the tracks via MySpace at least until the offical release dates. McCartney fans will however be able to pre order tracks via the site, although the Guns N’ Roses fans may not have that facility.
