Pete Doherty says that his band Babyshambles is… A shambles!

Doherty who has spent the last two years ‘arsing about’ as he calls it, has suddenly realised that if they band pulled together they could actually make some money out of it!

In reality the other members of the band have not really been ‘arsing about’, keeping things ticking over while Doherty gets himself into all sorts trouble.

Now the frontman has seen the light, he has told MTV News, “We need to sit down as a band and talk about the future, What’s happening and why, when and who with. [After] two years of arsing about, we could actually make money out of this job.”

Obviously money is very much on Doherty’s mind at present, as he says he gets fed up with people thinking he is rich and saying “Yeah, but you can afford it” and he is like “What’s making them say that?”

He insists that so far the band have failed to achieve any substantial financial reward.
