Prayin’ will be released on 12th July on Atlantic Records.
The third single to be taken from the already platinum-selling album The Defamation Of Strickland Banks Prayin’ is Plan B aka Ben Drew in full testifying soul preacher mode, delivering a sharply double-edged song that works perfectly as both uplifting gospel-driven Northern soul anthem and starkly bleak prison yard lament.
The new video is the latest visual instalment of his fictional Strickland Banks stardom-to-Solitary saga, directed in cinematic style, as are all his videos, by Daniel Wolf.
With the October tour close to selling out (more dates have been added since – see below for full tour) the album resident in the top 10 album chart and a live show that is going to strength to strength, Plan B is at the tipping point to end as the breakthrough artist of 2010.
