NAS, MOS DEF, PHARCYDE, SUPERNATURAL, SCRATCH AND MORE ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE UK SHOWS
Guerilla Union, in association with Live Nation, TCO and 1Xtra BBC, has announced an additional London show on 9th November at Londons Indigo2 as part of the UK tour of NAS, Mos Def and more as part of the Rock The Bells 2008 International Festival Series.
The UK leg of the tour is coming to Birmingham, London & Manchester next month.
The European tour will see Nas, Mos Def, Pharcyde join the original line up, freestyle world champion Supernatural and Scratch return to the Rock The Bells stage after appearing on all of this summer’s U.S. dates.
Pharcyde will NOT be playing London.
The festival will feature Nas exclusive European festival performances where he will play his classic tracks and songs from his new mega-hit album Untitled. Mos Def also be performing new tracks from his highly anticipated new album The Ecstatic. Rounding out the line-up for all dates is vocal turntablist Scratch, formerly of The Roots.
1Xtra the BBC’s digital Black Music station will be supporting Rock The Bells and will have exclusive interviews and live music from the UK leg of the tour tour. 1Xtra will have up to date details.
The Rock The Bells Festival has established itself as a world-class hip-hop platform by hosting legendary performances by Rage Against the Machine, NAS, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, Lauryn Hill, Blackstar (Talib Kweli and Mos Def), Hieroglyphics, Living Legends, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Cypress Hill and Jurassic 5 as well as reuniting Wu-Tang for their last performance with ODB in 2004. In 2007 it was the top-grossing hip-hop event in the United States.
