Stanley Odd are a truly international six piece band drawing its members from Scotland, Germany and Norway. They are essentially hip hoppers, but with a funky groove that fuses jazz, rock, electronica and generally anything else half decent into a cacophony of pleasant noise.

The band have recently signed to Circular Records and their debut single The Numbness is released on October 17th. Stanley Odd’s debut album is due for release in early 2010.

The Numbness has already featured on the top XFM radio show John Kennedy’s X-Posure along with plays on Jim Gellatly’s New Music show on Radio Magnetic.

The single owes plenty to the excellent strong and infectious vocals of Veronika Electronika with its catchy refrain but also the depth of quality in musicianship within the members of  Stanley Odd. A quality track.
