The Sugababes have pulled out of their T In The Park Gig, performing on the same bill as REM and Rage Against The Machine, in favour of a gig in a Mercedes Benz showroom in Weybridge Surrey.
The all girl band will perform at the car showroom with other headliners McFly.
T In The Park organisers are not happy, while The Sugababes say that they had never confirmed the concert in Scotland.
But Geoff Ellis T boss says the girls had contacted him to ask if they could play earlier, so that they could travel to Surrey to play there later in the day.
A spokesman for the Sugababes says that the car showroom appearance had been booked while T hadn’t. They couldn’t do both gigs because “Heidi is afraid of flying.”
Just how lucrative is the Mercedes contract?
