Incredibly the rare song writing and  vocal talent of Teitur has somehow eluded the UK, in fact his 2008 album, the critically acclaimed The Singer was the the first of Teitur’s albums to be released here.

The latest album All My Mistakes which is released on Monday October 5th, represents the best of his previous albums with tracks taken from The Singer (2008), Stay Under The Stars (2006) and Poetry and Aeroplanes (2003).

As such All My Mistakes represents a perfect introduction to Teitur’s previous albums and to his incredible ability as a singer and song writer.

The songs are a document of his extraordinary journey from his home on the remote and isolated Faroe Islands to the United Kingdom, via LosAngeles, Denmark and whole host of other countries in between.

It is Teitur’s isolated upbringing, which informs much of his writing, creating songs that have been described by John Mayer as “jet fuel on
the fire of a broken heart”.

Praise for The Singer:
“Never Less Than Extraordinary” – The Guardian *****
“A Rare Beast” – The Independent *****
“Utterly Inspiring” – The Fly *****
“A wonderfully Idiosyncratic talent” – Sunday Times

Teitur will be touring the UK in support of All My Mistakes during October.  The album is released on Monday October 5th on A&G Records.
