The Maybes? release their new single Trick of the Light taken from last year’s debut album Promise.

The Maybes? hail from Liverpool and remind me of fellow Liverpudian bands The LA’s and Cast.  Perfect jangly clean guitar-driven indie pop songs with a whiff of the sixties beat that sound right when the sun is shining.

Trick of the Light is The Maybes? fifth single.  They have been performing together since 2002, were signed to London-based record label Xtra Mile Recordings in 2006 and since then have they have been steadily accumulating recognition and a dedicated live following, especially in the thriving Liverpool music scene.
