The Scratch new single Against The Grain
The Scratch have announced the release of their new single Against The Grain, on their own Ponyland Records, on Monday 26th January 2009.
Against The Grain will be available as a digital download through itunes, Sony connect, Music Now, MP3 tunes, Greatindiemusic, Flip, Rhapsody, Nifty, LoudEye-OD2 and CDBaby and The Scratch website.
2008 saw The Scratch release two singles Critical Mass and Girls’ World. Both appeared on numerous Internet and Student Radio playlists. The accompanying music videos were shown on Sky Channels, Propeller TV and Go Ape.
A short promo tour saw The Scratch support The Holloways and appear on BBC 3 Counties Radio’s ‘On Tour’ feature, plus their second regional XFM response session with Colin Frances in Cardiff.
The Scratch also made their first appearance at the Endorse IT festival in Dorset in August, in the company of Alabama 3, Buzzcocks and Goldblade. The year finished on a high with a spot at the prestigious In The City music festival in Manchester.
