Tina Turner is playing two more shows this weekend at Olympiahalle in Munich Germany before she brings her World Tour to the UK for the first of two visits on a gruelling schedule that has seen her return to the stage after eight years.

The Tina Turner 2009 tour continues through March and April, and next week Tina Turner will play an amazing five nights at London’s O2 Arena in Greenwich, followed by one night at the Sheffield Arena before heading back to Europe for more live concerts.

The European leg of the tour will see Tina Turner in concert singing her most popular solo hits including What’s Love Got To Do With It, We Don’t Need Another Hero, Simply The Best and Golden Eye – the theme to the 1995 James Bond film, alongside earlier hits from the 1960’s and 1970’s recorded with her former husband as Ike & Tina Turner, such as Proud Mary and the classic Nutbush City Limits.

The 8 Grammy Award winning Queen of Rock’s brand new stage show is said to include a spectacular and stunning production, along with excellent choreography and an exceptionally tight band.

Other UK & Ireland concerts include four nights at Dublin’s O2 before completing the UK tour with four concert dates at Manchester’s MEN Arena (Manchester Evening News Arena), two at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena before heading off to mainland Europe for the last time to play Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Prague, Paris and finally Antwerp in Belgium on 30th April, 2009.
