Ireland’s folk, blues and pop songstress Wallis Bird is back with her brand new single To My Bones, taken from her forthcoming second album New Boots. The single is released on August 31 and the album follows on September 7 both on the Rubyworks label.
The songs on New Boots emerged partly from the most euphoric moments of her life – epiphanies and personal triumphs – and partly from the shadow of splits – with her label, with her partner – experiences that, she says, nearly broke her in half. The album is a fiercely honest record from a young Irish songstress not afraid to channel heart and soul into her every last note
To My Bones is a cracking sing-a-long summer pop track from the infectious Wallis Bird that is already getting mainstream radio airplay in the UK.
