Twenty one year old singing sensation Camilla Kerslake has become the first signing to Gary Barlow’s new record label Future Records. The Take That singer describes the young classical singers voice as ‘a unique and powerful instrument’ and is expecting a great future for her.
Camilla releases her self titled debut album on Novemeber 16th and is already featuring on the Amazon pre-order chart thanks mainly to support from Radio 2 in the UK where Terry Wogan in particular has been raving about her first single She Move Through The Fair.
The story is that Camilla camped outside the London studio where Take That were recording for weeks on end during this summer, waiting to give Gary Barlow a copy of the demo tape that she had made.
Her persistence finally paid off and Barlow says “I was instantly captivated by it, her voice is unique and a powerful instrument.
Camilla Kerslake’s studio video for Rule The World (In Italian) has incredibly received over 60,000 hits since its posting last week (September 28th). The Take That track is from her debut album.
